This week we focussed on the first few lines of the Parent's Prayer. The objective of this class was to increase the awareness of and importance of parental patience and courtesy.
Lines from the Parent's Prayer:
“Teach me to understand my children, to listen patently to what they have to say and to answer all their questions kindly.
Keep me from interrupting them or contradicting them.
Make me as courteous to them as I would have them be to me.”
